Tips to Pass the Registered Dietitian (RD) Exam?

PrepTable - Tips to Pass the RD Exam

Our objective is clear: We want to ACE the RD exam!

Summary: Developing effective study strategies and establishing healthy life routines can increase your chance of passing any hard exam! I want to share with you the 5 tips I’ve used to pass the RD exam on my first try.

After you have set an estimated study time-frame and marked your exam date on the calendar 📅:

  1. WATCH our lectures (or read test prep books if that is your cup of tea) to get started NOW. Build your study momentum 📈. Knock down the RD exam one domain at a time. We have reviewed the CDR guideline throughly when creating our lectures. Anyone with a basic nutrition background can utilize our lectures to strengthen their knowledge.

  2. Write down your notes and REVIEW them thoroughly. Ask yourself "How does this new information make sense in my existing network of knowledge?" Your detailed notes will serve as your knowledge roadmap on the exam day. This is why we created worksheets in each of our lecture packages to help you write down all the important details for the RD Exam.

  3. Quiz Quiz Quiz! The RD exam is all multiple choice (MC), which means the right answer is already on the page. Each of our lecture packages comes with 20 to 30 MC questions where you can quiz yourself with a timer . Your goal ➔ 1 min/question pace ⏰.

  4. Take CARE of yourself. The RD exam is not your whole world. It is okay to adjust your study time to fit your lifestyle. It is also okay NOT to pass it on your 1st try. You can always learn from your experience and do better the next time.

  5. Get good quality SLEEP . You may never feel 100% "ready" for the exam. And that is okay! You just need to select your best-educated-guesses. AND your brain works best when it's well-rested 🧠 🛌 💤.

💚💛 You are so close to becoming an Registered Dietitian, let us help you cross that finish line! 🎯🏃🏽‍♀️💨
